Simpson Family Farms is a multi-generation Ontario potato farm located in Stouffville, proudly supplying fresh, Ontario-grown potatoes to food service, wholesale buyers, and local families. Our family farm has been nurtured by seven generations of the Simpson family and remains deeply rooted in the agricultural heritage of the region.
Our story began when our ancestors settled in the area during the Irish potato famine. Over time, the farm evolved from dairy production into the potato-focused operation we are recognized for today, combining traditional farming values with modern practices.
Today, Simpson Family Farms operates as a trusted potato supplier serving restaurants, chip trucks, grocery stores, and commercial buyers across the GTA, Toronto, and surrounding regions. In 1983, Larry Simpson officially established Simpson Produce, now known as Simpson Family Farms, expanding the business into a reputable farming operation handling everything from planting and harvesting to packing and delivery.
Our high-quality potatoes are supplied consistently to wholesale customers across Ontario, including the GTA and beyond to Kingston. Customers rely on us for dependable supply, fair pricing, and reliable service — values that have guided our farm for generations.
In addition to wholesale potatoes, Simpson Family Farms offers a Farm Fresh Box Program, a seasonal CSA-style produce box designed for local families who value fresh, Ontario-grown food. Our farm boxes run during the growing season and feature a rotating selection of hand-picked vegetables harvested close to delivery.
Each Farm Fresh Box includes a variety of seasonal produce such as potatoes, sweet corn, broccoli, cauliflower, beans, leafy greens, zucchini, eggplant, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, onions, beets, and squash. Produce is sourced directly from our fields and from trusted local growers, ensuring freshness, quality, and a true farm-to-table experience.
We offer both pick-up and delivery options, with limited availability to maintain quality and consistency throughout the season.
