Seeking refuge from the Irish potato famine, the Simpson family journeyed to these fertile grounds, commencing a journey that would shape our identity. Originally dairy farmers, our focus shifted in 1983 when Larry Simpson founded Simpson Produce/Simpson Family Farms. From that pivotal moment, we became renowned for our expertise in growing exceptional potatoes.
Collaborating with his son Jared Simpson, Larry & Jared fostered a thriving business that encompasses the entire process, from cultivation to supply and delivery. Our unwavering commitment to quality has earned us a respected position among restaurants, chip trucks, grocery stores, and wholesalers across the GTA, Toronto, and even as far as Kingston.
While our roots are deeply embedded in potato farming, the summer months unveil a tapestry of vibrant flavors. Though we no longer partake in traditional farmers' markets, we proudly offer a Farm Fresh Box Program. This exclusive initiative allows us to bring the farm's bounty directly to your doorstep. Our meticulously curated boxes feature an assortment of freshly harvested produce, including potatoes, sweet corn, broccoli, cauliflower, beans, lettuce, kale, zucchini, eggplant, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, onions, beets, and squash.
Moreover, our farm store, open six days a week, presents an opportunity to experience the essence of our fields, showcasing an enticing selection of root vegetables and our delightful honey. Please note that we are closed on Sundays.
